CSU-AAUP to host RALLY 5 April at 3:00on EastConn campus
Eastern is hosting a rally in support of work life balance and we need your help! There are many proposals left on the table that will negatively impact our jobs, our students, and our families:
1. The BOR wants us to RETURN to 2019 pay levels, essentially
taking a permanent pay cut
2. They want to increase our office hours from 5 to 6 a week
3. And to top it off they put their 5/5 teaching load proposal
BACK ON THE TABLE
THE BOR WANTS US TO WORK MORE FOR LESS PAY all while the state of CT is seeing an $800 million budget surplus! These proposals will impact not only our work life (doing more work for less pay) but also our family life leaving us with limited resources and time to take care of
our children and family members.
It is time to show up for your job, for your students, for your families, and
for your colleagues.

WHEN: April 5 @ 3:00 pm- 4:00 pm
WHERE: Fine Arts Building, 325 High Street, Willimantic — Just look for the giant Skunk! The BOR’s proposals still stink!

From High Street…
Right onto Charter Oak
Left onto Occum
Park in the University lot (if full, use Shakespeare or Cervantes garage)
from the University lot,
walk up the hill and to the front of the Fine Arts Building facing High.
Look for the giant skunk!
