Colleagues:
The disruptive violence at our nation’s capitol yesterday shocked the nation and the world. But, it was not surprising for many who recognized that our democratic values have been eroding during the past 4 years under this administration. We stand firm with our congressional delegates, who, thankfully, are all safe and worked diligently last evening certifying the election and preserving our democracy. We look forward to a new administration who will work to unite our country to regain its leadership role globally, to care better for its citizens and to put an end to this pandemic.
