UConn-AAUP submitted a re-draft of Article 30 Department Governance from the previous session. The Package Proposal submitted by the administration last negotiation session was too large and complicated to determine advantages and disadvantages. The union took that package and submitted two separate packages for consideration by the administration. The package containing Article 31 and 34 was TA’s by the end of the session – progress was made. Overall, there are still a number of major articles on the table that need further discussion with only 4 sessions on the calendar.
