On Thursday, August 29, 2019, Governor Ned Lamont named finance executive Dan Toscano as chair of the University of Connecticut Board of Trustees.
Dan is the managing director of global leveraged finance at Morgan Stanley & Co. He is a graduate of the University in 1987 and currently a member of the UConn Foundation.
Commenting on the appointment, Lamont said, “In order to be successful in a 21st century economy, it is essential that our state’s schools and universities strongly connect themselves with the business community.”
