UConn-AAUP Update: April 22, 2022

Now is the time to join UConn-AAUP

Yesterday, the CT House of Representatives overwhelmingly approved our new collective bargaining agreement. Today the CT Senate will debate and vote approval as well, finalizing a long and challenging journey to improve and protect your working conditions at the University of Connecticut. The negotiations were difficult and required a dogged commitment to protecting benefits and due process rights. The negotiations also provide you with a drastically different salary increase than what the administration was offering and the security of a 4-year collective bargaining agreement. That’s what the UConn-AAUP union does for you. It’s time for you to join your colleagues in supporting this effort by becoming a union member. Labor unions on are the move – be a part of UConn-AAUP.
