- UConn Files Petition With Labor Board to Remove Head and Associate Coaches
Despite the ill will created by management towards the union in their previous attempt to remove all coaches and performance personnel from the bargaining unit, the administration decided to deepen the divide by filing a petition for the removal of 26 head and associate head coaches with the Labor Board on August 31st – the last eligible day to file .
We must be united in solidarity with our coaches who have been long-time members of the AAUP and firmly stand against these member hostile and union busting tactics displayed by the administration. This is simply a divide and conquer tactic by the administration on the membership. We are confident that the strength of our members will prevail again.
