UConn-AAUP Update October 5, 2024
We wanted to pass along an update to all members. Yesterday afternoon I sent a letter on behalf of the UConn-AAUP Executive Committee to President Maric and Provost D’Alleva. The letter can be viewed here: UConn-AAUP Letter. The letter raises deep concern over a number of new university policies that we feel limit free speech and free expression on UConn campuses and asks for a meeting with the administration to discuss their revision.
We will keep you updated on their response and on any ongoing negotiations over this issue.
