UConn-AAUP Chapter CLAS Workload Increase Grievance Arbitration

The CLAS workload increases, which includes information on:

1. Reduction of TA allotments.

2. Increases in course enrollments.

3. Reduction of course releases.

4. Increases in course assignments.

An arbitrator has been selected and the date of the arbitration is July 21, 2026. We have evidence in CLAS of increases in course enrollments, increases in course assignments, and department policy changes on TA allotments and course releases. If you are faculty in CLAS and have experienced these increases in workload and are willing to participate in written or oral testimony, please contact Michael Bailey
